Was BuzzTheory the first agency to announce an AI Search practice?

Yes. When we launched in Q1 2024, we couldn’t find any agency offering, or talking about, a solution. It was months before the topic even appeared in industry conversations.

Independent research bots we tasked with testing our assumption later estimated we were three to six months ahead of the field. Since then, we’ve kept that lead by continuing to innovate ahead of the market.

How much revenue has BuzzTheory generated?

Because our work spans the entire revenue lifecycle, “influenced” is the most appropriate term, though generation represents a significant share of that impact.

At our 10-year mark, we engaged Promethean, a leading agency intelligence consultancy with deep benchmarking data, to help us calibrate various aspects of our business. The effort revealed that we had influenced more than $40 billion in revenue at that point. This total included direct and indirect revenue generation, as well as retention and upgrades.

Our methodologies scale, allowing us to positively impact multibillion-dollar revenue bases as well as growth-oriented disruptors and challengers. For example, even though we serve many multibillion-dollar firms, we were the sole marketing team behind a channel client’s growth from $3 million to more than $100 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR).

Do you only work with big firms?

Why does BuzzTheory have a PR practice when most revenue marketing firms don’t?

Do you require us to use your PR services if we already have a firm?

No. But, we may share recommendations with your PR firm that are essential to supporting revenue outcomes and ensuring consistent messaging across the distribution chain.

For some clients, we work in tandem with a PR firm that handles general outreach while we handle channel or tech industry media.
